Social Media/ Marketing Intern (PAID)

Location: Remote- Nationwide (Los Angeles or Houston,TX preferred but not required)
Hours: Paid, Part-time 20 hours a week

The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the team with day-to-day tasks across PR, social media, marketing, creative and more. This position will enable the candidate the ability to work within many different marketing functions to help grow their skillset and strengthen their talents!
Social Media:
o Create weekly social performance reports using social/influencer tools. Review and prepare reports for Instagram analytics.
o Work with content team to come up with organized weekly plans in advance.
o Help the team with community management, responding to questions, escalating concerns, fulfilling giveaways and so on.
PR & Marketing:
o Assist with managing the brands influencer campaigns
o Assist with influencer and editor communications, mailings and outreach (i.e. send outs, tracking, research, invoicing).
o Use Tribe to log daily influencer activity on Instagram stories.
o Oversee at least one creative email marketing or collateral piece from start to finish.
o Trend monitor for the team to keep them abreast on any influencer/editor brand collaborations, events, partnerships, news, etc.
o Create and execute content strategy to supply social media platforms with relevant, inspiring, and engaging content that connects with the target customers.
Admin/Misc:
o Support the team with general administrative functions: packing, mailing, ordering product, coordinating schedules and meetings, invoices.
o Help the team as needed in brainstorming ideas for events, mailings, pitches, etc.
o Help create blogs
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
o Strong knowledge of Canva, Adobe Photoshop (Illustrator a plus).
o Strong Knowledge of video editing and must have own equipment.
o Ability to work independently while taking direction from others.
o Strong written and verbal communication skills.
o High level of attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
o Creative and intuitive thinker with the ability to execute and problem solve.
o Must be prepared to get involved in all aspects of the business with a "hands-on" approach.
o Relevant background in marketing, communications, PR, social media or business administration.
o Passionate about beauty/haircare trends and pop culture.
o Bonus points for candidates who have an eye for design!
